In a way, though, I think it's a bit of a good thing. No adaption from books is ever completely spot-on. I'm a little ashamed to admit it, but preferred the movie version of The Scarlet Letter and I'm a book snob. That and I wonder if the directors haven't preferred the H/Hr ship. Dunno. Maybe even WB does. *shrug*
Or maybe it's just that Daniel and Emma have more chemistry. I've never quite bought Rupert and Emma being a couple in the films. I like Ron well enough, but I just can't see he and Hermoine together.
Maybe we'll just have the movieverse whereas you guys are the Bookverse. And again, *shrug*
I just prefer the Ginny/Neville, Ron/Luna or Fleur (Bill in a Dragon accident), and Harry/Hermoine solution. ;)
