*Crosses Fingers and Prays*

In the end I changed the title to One Breath, One Touch, but my solo PB entry is posted (it's from our brief-mentioned Lips of an Angel 'verse, so be warned.) Anissa is still working on one on her own and I really want to do one based on one of my all-time favorite comics scenes, but the [livejournal.com profile] 12days_of_clois  fic needs to get finished before we play anymore. It's nearly to the end now, though, so... :D

Enjoy and I'll hope it didn't suck. *blushes*

I know I posted a comment over on the PB about this story and a little about the 'verse but thought you might like to know that had I read this story a year or even a few years back I would have not liked it enough to continue reading (I was at a point where I was still feeling things for a crush and probably would have associated the crush with Kal as opposed to my hubby with Lois standing in for me). It's not because of the writing but it has to do with my feelings being associated with the main characters. It's why I don't read romance books where I can't imagine going for a male character because of a change in my attitude later in life.

It's part (but not solely) of the reason I wasn't keen on going to SR when it was in theaters (I had JUST gotten married but still had problems with me feelings for my old crush). Again, I think I'm still going to like it but it's just one of those sorts of things that's hard to read at times. I suspect you already know this but just be prepared.

Ah, tragic romance... the most poignant of all loves.

Oh, no, I completely understand. Been there and done that myself a time or two. And that's part of the reason that I may never fully explore the 'verse. Or it may just be used for the PB or something of that nature. I don't think I have the heart to write up that much angst and on that level as a whole series after Heirs.

Hell, Heirs is actually not going to be too terrifically dark, in the end.

I think, for me, it's more the fact of showing that even when Fate ruins things for them, you can't break this OTP. They'll do what they have to do. I can honestly say that, in the future of one of our on-going 'verses, not even death keeps them apart. :D

Whoah. A love beyond time???? Holy... the question is reincarnation or just astral? *BTW I suggest listening to a song called "Ancient Souls"(which I think is by Gabrielle Angelique) if you ever decide to explore that 'verse (heck it might even fit with “Lips of an Angel” considering it’s lyrics). It's been a song that has been a bit of a touchstone in some of my more emotional moments having to do with relationships (and has spawned a MAJOR ballet from me if I ever had the money to produce one >_< ). I would say it's a "soulmate" song (where the soul is calling and constantly missing each other until the end of the song). One phrase of the song (it's said in whispers) is "her heart is old, it's light is lost, she wants to be completed at any cost." and honestly that feels like our Lois here (at least in the verse you just started and the one you just described as a possible one).

If you're interested I'll try and post it to yousendit and send you the link.

Yep, pretty much. ;) I won't tell you what 'verse, though. It's meant to be a surprise a little longer.

And I'd love to hear it, if you can get a copy. Might just help. :D
