Mama Mia!
This chapter is one of the hardest I've ever worked on, period. So many issues and things to navigate through. It's amazing how you discover that you were doing things in your writing that you never suspected, like you knew you were doing something without even noticing it. Setting up things that would doubly make sense later. I think I'm starting understand human nature better and better as we write these stories. Even the best of us are not perfect at times, but that doesn't make us a bad person. And the simplest neurosis can be incredibly complex the more you unravel it.
It's been an interesting realization. After all this time, it makes me so happy to learn new things about these characters. I've definitely been blessed to be able to make this journey with them.
