As of January 8th, I'm going to finally give in to the urge and watch Downton Abbey on PBS. I haven't seen more than clips, but DAMMIT, it's addictive. And it has Dame Maggie as a complete badass. And I'm already half in love with Mary and Matthew. Damn you, too, BBC, for being amazing. I can't even glare at them for it.

*siiiigh* Me and my damn period dramas.



[And yes, Clois, this goes for you, too, despite the fact that you're only OCCASIONALLY a period drama. ;)]

hehehehe. Have fun. It's pretty amazing, though not faultless. :) I'm really interested to know what your main ship will be after watching it! There are MANY. I watched a lot of S2 live through a stream from the UK, so it was high on my must-watch-now list.

I've seen a ton of the Cousin Violet scenes and a lot of Mary and of Anna and Mr. Bates. Little bits and pieces of the family and staff themselves. All of what I've seen makes it irresistible. I've been spoiled on some serious plot-points, but I don't mind. Going to set the DVR tonight. :D
