In Which Kala Is *Ahem* Petulant...

Have you ever had one of those moments in your fic that you thought was brilliant, which much planned ahead, and a handful of people either misunderstand it or down-right scorn it even though they have no idea where it's headed?

No, no, it's no one here and present, but it seems that the reveal to the Richana, subtle as it is and will be built on more heavily in the next few chapters, has made several people vocal with their displeasure. And that just hurts. I'd like to think that all of you have come far enough with us to trust us just a little. I'm going to blow a secret here and say that it's essential to the plot and everyone knows we explain our reasoning eventually, but it's already being ranted about. Have you ever know me not to have a reason for doing something? Grrrrr... Reminds me of how some people got about the Richana when it first started. And look how that's caught on....

*throws brickbats in irriation*

Why do I feel like a crabby, spoiled six-year-old who can't be understood? *sigh*

NO! And don't ever think that! *hugs her F-list tightly* No, you guys mean so much to us! It's just that this guy came out of nowhere and it just hurt. It's like getting punched on your blind side. Hard. Like I told B, I'm spoiled by you guys.

Makes you worry what the world at large would think... *bites lip*

I know you love your f-list...and I'm not saying you don't! I just wanted to remind you of all your adoring fans...now would their be so many if you didn't have something special? I know when you hear something bad then you questions whether everyone has been lying to you, or is biased...but I hope you know that's not true!

I was actually just telling someone about your writing and I was telling her how daunting it is to write in the Supes Verse cause the authors are so amazing...and how any one of them, (you, B, Lori, Caroline, Abby) could be published authors....

So the world at large would think you're brilliant is what I think! Now you stop being sad and upset...or I'm going to have to come and hunt you down and cheer you up!!

*screams from the top of a hill* Lois and Anissa ROCK!!! THEY ARE AMAZING! YOU STUPID ANONYMOUS MAN GO AWAY!! WE DON'T LIKE YOU!

I was going to comment with something similar to this!

If you have this many people interested in, and enjoying your story, then you can pretty sure your writing would be enjoyed in the wider world. It's a matter of taste, no matter how you look at it. The NY Times bestseller at this moment (I don't know who it is) has a lot of fans AND detractors. Not everyone likes the same kinds of writing or stories.

So does that mean all of his/her critics render the book to be crap? I think all of his/her fans would completely disagree.

*more hugs*

B's totally right! And on top of that...once you feel better, don't you dare feel guilty for feeling like this! And I think I speak for all of us when I say, it's our pleasure to sing your praises...and we all need a pick me up every now and then...even though I think you're crazy for EVER doubting yourself - JK :D Give us smile would ya? Please???
