One Last Funny Just Before We Walk Out The Door

I dropped a pretty good wad of cash on an outfit and a few seperates from Norma Kamali to choose from when I met Margot. At an hour to go before we leave, I realize that the outfit is waaaaay too formal and the weather has changed, so I can't wear the other two pieces I I brought. And I decided this an hour before we left....

So, I'm meeting Margot Kidder in street clothes. Dressed like Kala. In a t-shirt that says' I'm Only Wearing Black Until They Make Something Darker' and a spring-green embroidered peasant skirt.

*sigh*

And I wanted to look normal. *EPIC!FAIL*

*LOL* And off we go!

Awwww! Trust me, you should have seen how I was limping and wilting when I met her. Baaaaad idea to wear two-inch heels to an event that large when you expect to be on your feet the entire six hours you're there. And the person you're going to see is already three or four inches shorter than you. *LOL*

And, unfortunately, we were only allowed to take the one pic. Handlers are a bitch like that.

And I so hear you on the heels. I have friends who quite literally hiked up the side of a mountain in wedges, but I never could stand the damn things. *makes you a hot soak for your poor feet*

And that sucks about the handlers! Makes me glad that the few stars I've met have been through my Dad and not at conventions and things...

Wedges?! Are you kidding me?! *the mind boggles* I'm nuts when it comes to impressions, sometimes, but that's just...just... *headdesk*

I really really wish I could have met her at a time when I could have picked her brain a little more. There's so many things I want to know her opinion on, even politics (because she's very political!). Makes me wish I worked for a magazine. Especially since I don't plan on asking her the typical. :D

The most hysterical part of all of this is the fact that, by the time I finally got to see her, I was so warm that my hair was a mess. I never would have been comfortable in the dress, no matter how pretty it was. I'm not sure how the people in heavy costumes stood it.

And there were A LOT of people in costume.
