In the catagory of Oscar judges, former Theater major, screenwriting student, and film class graduate Ms. Joos has only two words for description of this latest show of idiocy in the current film industry:
Elitest B*stards....
They gripe about that stupid sequel and then it wins a bloody award! Useless lot, all of you! You're all fired! Thankfully there were some decent nominees that won. God, I hate the way the damn awards usually pan out.
*rolls eye* Morons. The only intelligent thing I've seen thus far this evening (I started watching late) was the wonderful Ms. Hudson's win. You go, girl. Lost Idol, won an Oscar! Take that, Simon the Rat! And YAY for Pan's Labyrinth! What a lush, incredible film. SOOO happy on that one. But they still suck.
Some day I'm going to bore the hell out of all of you with a diatribe about the purile crap that is the majority of film-making in this brave new century. Lucky for you, this is not that day...
Someone wake me up when Meryl Creep doesn't win...
