If You Haven't Been Here, Here's A Good Reason To Get There!

 All of you out there that read this journal and follow our fic know that there are two amazing women we are blessed to call not only friends, but to our Visual Team, both official visual goddesses of the fandom: riznyand elliania.







Kat. Well, let's just say that every layout I've had (shy of the Edgar Allen Poe one) has been made by Kat. Every banner for every 12days_of_clois entry? Kat. Half of the icons in my userpics? Kat. And the Super-secret Project Nemo? You guessed it. She was the first graphic artist I met that was willing to tackle manips and she's done an utterly breath-taking job every single time, even with my nervous little nitpicks. Katness, you are amazing and I love you very much! *snuggles her Visual Assistant* If you haven't been to see her work, get there. 




And Rizny. Who saw Superman Returns and came out of it a fan. Who saw the Superman: The Movie and became a junkie. *LOL* I love this girl so much for how she came into this fandom. And for all the amazing manip work she does. And the fact that she's done so much work for Original Movieverse, and has helped to keep that part of the fandom alive as well, means so much to me. *hugs the Official Goddess of Original Movieverse Graphics*

Not that I'm knocking Brandon or the current 'verse; it's just so nice to see so much of the Reeve/Kidder films out there when there was next to nothing out there before the DC. Rizny, I owe you so much for making people love a film nearly thirty-years-old again. And you are seriously missing out if you haven't made your way here. Not to mention, rizny is also an author. Girls, I love you! Thank you so much for making a writer's little visual dreams come true with every new piece you make, for the tears I get every time you post something new, and for giving me reasons to keep dreaming. And Kat? The visual from your Official Richana Icon will be coming up soon! XD

New Years Resolutions: I Resolve To...

• Stop being overly-sensitive and learn to speak up for myself more often. Or just learn to ignore non-constructive critisism.
• Make a better attempt at losing weight because last year's excuses just aren't going to cut it.
• Believe in myself more as a writer. Out of Reach went over pretty well, and I did that all on my own, so maybe it's safe to believe that I really am pulling my own weight.
• Actually finish Little Secrets before the end of February. And make the ending something amazing.
• Go forward with the other installment to the Out of Reach universe and finish it, then write the other two/three oneshots for the Baby, It's Cold Outside-verse to close that one. I will finish these two AUs with only that amount of chapters. Before the summer. I hope.
• Push myself farther, writing-wise, on Heirs to the House of El than I did in Little Secrets. As well as I've done here, let me get braver.
• Not drive Anissa absolutely batshit over deadlines. Even if you still will have them.
• Actually get some work done on Dark Rising and see if we can get this baby published since we have so much manuscript.
• Meet Margot this time. And not act like a spaz by crying and getting nervous. And remember to get her to sign Sophie's sketch.
• Be a better friend.
• Get out of this town and this house before I go insane after eight years of 'Next year we'll move'.

*looks up at her list* Okay, that'll do. And this year, I'm really going to try, since I honestly mean all of those things.
