Another Day In The Trenches

Here's hoping no one called out, no one is on sick leave, we keep a few items in stock, the customers aren't on auto-pilot [like last night], that the fridge at work is still stocked with energy drink the way I left it last night [or that someone made a new batch], and that I don't fall asleep or cut a bitch before closing time, which is now officially a half hour later at 10 for the next two weeks before it ticks over to 11 the week of.

I need to write The Prayer of the Christmas-Season Retail Worker. Or someone does. Lord knows we need it.
