alert; expect delays

this week's chapter may be held as late as sunday.  as you may have noticed, our laptop does not have a functioning shift key.  no, this is not sticky keys - i checked, and if it was, i could still use the caps lock key, but i can't do that either.  so this is severely impacting my ability to finish the chapter and to post it.  anyway, we're in a hotel til sunday night and may not be able to get to a more functional computer.
