Are you sure you don't 'have children? no really. One minute they are fighting like cats and dogs, and the next they are defending each other to the bully kid down the street. Or something like that. You totally nailed sibling relationships in this. And it makes so much sense that Kala feels more comfortable talking to Lana than to her mom. I have several younger "friends" that have come to me over the years for mom-type advise when they just don't feel right talking to their mom. And I was surprised that Jason didn't throw something back at Kala about the kissing since she tends to act very similar when he is around a certain someone.
