No, no. There are a lot of H/Hr shippers who are sane and I think Jo knows that too - it's just that some are rabid and insane. I mean she said a while ago she could kind of see where some people got the idea for H/Hr even if it wasn't what she was planning.
I mean most fans of anything are normal - regardless of shipping preferences - it's just the loud ones who get the attention.
Regarding the fic - I admit I was rolling my eyes and feeling sick at the whole depiction of the Weasleys (I love my Weasleys!) but when I got to the bit about Hermione cutting off Ron's penis and then using it to kill Ginny I just ... ugh.
And she reads that stuff to her GRANDKIDS. I mean - what the Hell?!?!?!?
