Don't you hate those days when you were joking about the fact that you would rather get sick than go to work and you wake up the next morning feeling miserable?
*rolls eyes*
Yeah, it's like that. Dammit.
Looks like bed rest for me. :(

One would think that you'd get extra sympathy working with people who are supposedly compassionate, except for the fact that we have all kinds of isolation equipment, including face masks that prevent the spread of germs.
So I have the fine privledge of dripping snot from my nose with an uncomfortable mask that has extremely tight elastic straps that pulls behind my ears and therefore makes them hurt, oh and I get all sorts of strange looks from people when they see me walking down the hall. That's nice too. Ugh. Oh, and the snot dripping from the nose? Yeah, since you've got a mask on, forget blowing it, especially in front of a patient or family member. Yeah, right. The only way I get out of work is a fever and a doctor's note when I can come back. Nice.
