Personally love it for the context it gives myself. I don't mind "rehash" if it gives more internal motivations and characterizations (which a good move novelization will do). As there will never be a movie novelization of the first two movies we're stuck with fanfic (which you do an excellent job with BTW, I have to concur with someone who once wrote that if there was to be a movie novelization of the first two movies your LS Snapshots would put you in the running).
