And the building up tension and intensity follows in this chapter! Loved the Lois/Lex moment, hoy evily dastard the man is. Great dialogue. I kind of smirked a little when Lana and Richard arrived at the Planet to find Ella there, I know I’ve already mentioned I liked a lot this character. And the fact that she goes right to the point (Ella merely nodded. “So, your dinner out to patch up the relationship, how did that go?”)
The scene with Lois and Jason was pretty intense too. I love the Mom side of Lois.
“Ms. Lane…or shall I call you Lois? We do know each other, after all. Anyway, I wouldn’t dream of ordering the men to strip-search you. They’ve been sequestered without feminine company for months.”
Again, that cold gleam in his eyes shone as he added, “And I don’t share.” Fuck yeah Lex.!
