Kala Josephine Lane-Kent, ladies and gentleman. Only I didn't darken her hair here. Should be MUCH darker, Christopher's color. She is a love, isn't she? Just a pint-sized Lois.
But, honestly, with that hair? I know your Lois is modeled after Kiddor, but it looks like Boosworth. Really. This fic hasn't gone movie-verse on me or anything, but it's the first thing that comes to mind...
By the way, has anyone made you a 'official poster' or banner or anything for LS that I might have missed?
Nope, not yet. I'm going to get a paid account this coming paycheck, though, and it would be greatly appreciated if someone could come up with the perfect one so I can show it off like B did with coltdancer's. Ella and I were just talking about that, actually.
I totally would. I've gotten dozens of ideas for banners for stories (Caroline's, Barb's, Mel's... heck, the list goes on and on), but I'm artistically challenged. I can barely draw stick people. : D
I was thinking about making a banner for 'Underground' once... but I chickened out. : D
I'd love to see what you'd do. I'm okay with it, but not so great. I'd love to see what bisty or coltdancer or bodeewan would do. Wish I could do these a little better.

My biggest problem is that I'm a HUGE perfectionist when it comes to stuff like that (you should see me when I'm setting up an end-of-isle display at work - it's like I'm planning for the President to arrive or something. WWAAYY too much thought goes into it). I've had this teaser poster idea for a while, but I can't find any really good image. If I ever get the guts to try anything, I'll let you know. : )

They'd kill. That's the bottom line. : D We could only sit and stare in awe at their creative superiority. *pretends to bow*
Your comment about their banners killing. Put it up as an LJ post to see if there are any takers on the challenge. Trying to decide if I'm that gutsy...
Also, I didn't darken her hair in this pic. It's supposed to be Christopher's blue-black here. That's what's throwing you off. I was afraid I'd ruin it if I 'Shopped it.
She is a cuteness, isn't she? God, I love the twins. I have the best time with them.
That's a good thing. : ) It's important for a writer to like their characters. Not only that, but you've made her valid in the Superman fandom. She could easily be part of the movie from the way you've written her.
And that's a huge compliment. I've tried really hard to make it that way. Especially since so many people thought she was a throw-away character when I started. Even B asked me how I was going to get rid of her. Of course, she didn't know the plot at the time. I'm just glad everyone loves her. And Jason really does need an ally. I'm glad he's not alone.

Honestly? I thought that too. There've been TOO many stories where original characters have either taken over or have been so out of place. That's part of the reason why it took me so long to jump on the bandwagon - I've seen this thing hundreds of times before, and its always tanked.
Now I can't imagine this story without her. She's such a wonderful compliment to Jason's character... and, somehow, it makes Lois' relationship with her children THAT MUCH MORE enduring.

And I agree completely. And just thinking of our LO having to do all of the 'Mommy' things when they were growing up with two little terrors always makes me smile. She'll recount some more of it as time goes on.
*LOL* Back when you first started beta-ing. Way back in Chapter Two, when she gave birth. I remember you asking, "So, how are you going to get rid of the girl?" I hadn't told you my plans yet. It was a LOOOONG time ago.
