Dear Sickness, Can I Have This Week Back, Plz?

So, I'm finally up out of bed and refuse to stay there any longer. The swelling is gone, the spider bite has nearly disappeared, and I'm just going to have to deal with the Shakey. The inactivity of this week has been for the birds and I'm more than ready to get back to the Real World. That and I've MAJORLY caught up with my sleep backlog. I'm back to work tomorrow and we'll see how it goes. I never thought I'd be so happy to be back there! *wonders if she should have her head checked*

Other good news?  The computer we thought died last year? That we couldn't repair? I'm currently using it! *YAY!* The only bad thing? All of our icons, pics, and other goodies are on the other computer. The transfers will occur this weekend, although the writing is updated here. Expect Unfamiliar this weekend before 12days_of_clois closes out the Clois 100 for the month and the Little Secrets postscript fic, The More Things Change... before the end of next week. 

It's good to be home. I love you all!

Yes, I'm alive and feeling like my usual self again, God help us all. And nope, I was back at work, doing a nine-hour shift like a moron.

Well, I'm still working on the "feeling better" part, but I'm so happy to be up and around. I really can't remember much of this week at all and that really bothers me.

I couldn't hear your voice posts but a spider bite doesn't sound too good. I'm glad you're feeling better. It's been odd not seeing you so much on the f-list page. (insted I get the same post from 3 different coms about the awards)

*hugs* Awww! That's awful! I need to get back to posting! :)

I'll write you a better explanation later, but it was just that I got one sickness, only to turn around and get an infected spider bite before the other illness was over and it just got progressively worse as the week went on. This has been the first day I've really been up and around for a long period of time. Long week, otherwise.

And getting the other computer working is awesome because that means I have a lot of stuff for Reeveverse now that I haven't had access to in a year. :) And I'm thrilled about it.

Awww! *grateful hugs* You guys have no idea how much the fact that you care means! I reallt think that that's the reason I got better so fast. I really expected that it would take longer to recover, but surprise! *grins like a dork*

And yeah, remember how we thought we had lost all of our stuff last year when the comp blitzed? Suprise! We finally had the guts to check and it's all here! *giddy laughter*

Oh wow - I'm so sorry that happened to you - and I apologize that I missed your post about the spider bite. I've been behind on the flist because it's hard to keep up at times here.

But I'm glad you're feeling better! That's so scary. What kind of spider was it? A few years ago my friend Don got bit by a brown recluse and almost lost his arm! So, yeah ... so glad you're okay. *hugs*

I've been reading your entries faithfully, but I just haven't had a chance to reply. *snuggles you tight and pleads forgiveness* How are you, sweetheart? Have things calmed down any more sinc I read last week? I feel awful for not being caught up!

Oh, and it was just some kind of garden spider, we think. We never did find out, except for the fact that I'm allergic to it. *makes face* Seeing as how I hate them anyway, I guess it's only fair.
