About Last Night's Post

Without going too much into it, it meant so much to me how you all rallied around us like this. I think I'm dealing with it pretty well and it's just made me determined to carry on with all things as planned. I haven't replied to the individual comments because I'm just not sure what to say. So I decided to do this.







It's absolutely the truth that I'm the most blessed person on the planet to have both my friends and fans be one in the same. All of you mean the world to me. This just proves it more than ever.

And tell me something? When did I start getting considered a BNF and why didn't I get a note as to this status? *dies* I mean, really. Am I really that well-known? Or am I just stupid and blind?

I also woke up thinking that the awards were posted today. Someone give me the Tums and let me work so hard that I don't think about the next several hours.

Again, F-List, thank you for being so protective and respecting the no-wank order. It's just not worth the fight. *huge hugs to all*

You guys have been BNFs since way before last year's Supes Movieverse Fic Awards. :p Of course, this corner of fandom isn't as huge a sandbox as others, but you're still two of the top names. ^_~ I think part of it is building up a fanbase, and LS was just the epic project to do that. :)

Now see, we never knew we were quite that popular outside of our little Family here. And really, all of the additional media stuff I've done because it's what I would want. I think that's a lot of it is that I did LS the way I would have wanted to see it if I was a fan.

But it makes me happy to know that people enjoy it. Very happy.

Maybe not stupid, but surely a bit blind! Honey, when you wrote a 84 chapters' fic, one chapter by week during two years, with I don't know how many OS related too... you become a natural BNF. ;-)

*LOL* Well, you know me, Kat. I tend to not notice the obvious sometimes. Very Lois, huh? :D And we didn't think about that part of it as we wrote. It was more a case of "How can we surprise them next?".

Oh hon... I'm not gonna have free time anytime soon. This summer's killing me! I honestly don't think I'll have time for more banners. :( If you want to ask someone else, I would understand.

BUT I would really love to be the one who makes your layouts!!! What's next, huh?? ;)


btw, this layout's credit isn't right. you changed your layout but keep the Clois wedding's credit. wrong!!

I had the feeling on the banners. And I really hate to ask you for any new stuff with how crazy your work schedule is. I was going to ask if we could do a layout for either Heirs or Heirs and In Another Lifetime since those two are the on-going ones at the moment. Laurel has said that she would help if you needed backup after she gets back August 1.

And I lost the maker's name between mid-Fall and now. *blushes* Sorry!

Hi!

Just a quick word to tell you I'm fully with you on the secret posting issue. What with honesty being the moral trait I value most and all that, such behaviour doesn't sit well with me at all.

And by all means, do keep writing. I can't hardly wait for "Heirs". Gosh, to be able to sigh over both TW and BR... (Sorry 'bout Chris, but he's more of a blurry childhood figure to me.) Somehow, I picture the older SR Kal-El like a self-assured Richard Gere.

I know... But then, I didn't imagine Rob Downey Jr. could do superhero until I saw Iron Man, either...

I think that's what shakes me most of all about it. If the author knows me, they know that I have doubted my writing in the past. That this was likely to hurt me. But they couldn't just stay quiet or try to explain it to me themselves. It was done in a public forum with the snapshot of my LJ very clear to any of my fans (who else uses the Lois' Angels icon?) despite the name and content of the post being blurred. It really hurt just for the embarrassment of the obviousness alone. *sighs*

Oh, well. It's over with.

And Heirs is going swimmingly. Laure, you are more than welcome to picture any Superman you like. I know that there are a few that see BR in our Kal-El and that's fine. I think thyere are a couple that even see Kate. Doesn't bother me. I just write them. And I can't tell you about the visuals, though. It's to be a surprise. ;)

And I totally agree with you there. RDJ really threw me for a loop, too. :D

I just saw this, and had to go check out the other post. Geeze... some people have waaay too much time on their hands if they can run amok posting such stupid wank as that silly git on Fandom Secrets did.

Lois, you and Anissa are made of awesome, and LS is one of the most amazing stories I have ever encountered in fandom. You two have created a great example for fandom to follow in How To Do It Right.

I think so, too. Part of me would like to know who it is just so I know not to bother them with anything again. I think that's one of the reasons it gets to me a bit. I have no idea who it was. For me, that doesn't make it better, it makes it worse.

And awwww... *bites lip* I only hope we can always live up to the praise. I really want everyone in the fandom to understand that I wrote all of this and made it interactive as much as I could for the other fans. It was the kind of thing I would want to see. And to get the love back? Worth all of the work we put into it.
