*deep relieved sigh* I finally got the noms in before work today. I really wish I could have done twice as many as I did, but I'm looking at the fact that I'm running Harmon next week while Brian is gone (totally going to ask the MIL for some Xanax; I'm not going to go crazy this time for not being able to do enough. I'M NOT!), we have the chapter coming up on Saturday, and we're working on two other ideas for fic as we speak with Anissa and [livejournal.com profile] saavikam77  work on a third. I tried to make things pretty fair and only nommed the stories I loved best. I got a few stories in that were outside my normal sphere, but not as many as I wanted to. That said, I picked only the ones I thought were excellent this year. And I think a few people would be surprised by some of my choices! ;) Good luck to all of us this year and know that it's an honor to be a part of this fandom. We have some of the most brilliant fanfic out there! *snuggles you all*

In other news, I miss [livejournal.com profile] rizny . It's been about two weeks now and my mornings seem so empty without her. L, I miiiiiiiissss you! Come home! *whines and cries*

And [livejournal.com profile] babettew54 , I talked to Brian today and it looks like we're a go for meeting up on July 31st. We can start making plans for how this will go down next week. I'm so excited! *happy dance*

Oh, and I have a little additional spoiler tidbit for you. How does that sound?

Richard narrowed his eyes at her speculatively.  Before he could say anything else, Jason appeared at his mother’s side.  “No way,” he said, and Lois saw her own stubbornness reflected in her son’s eyes.

“Jason, honey,” she began, but he cut her off.

“I’m not letting you go alone. Dad’s not here, and if I hadn’t left Kala alone…”

“It’s not your fault,” Richard and Lois said in unison.

Jason wouldn’t be so easily mollified.  “Doesn’t matter,” he insisted.  “I’m going with you.  I can’t keep you safe if I don’t know where you are.”

“Jason.”  Lois sighed, but the moment before she could say anything else, her son gave her a look from under furrowed brows that she’d seen too often in the mirror.

“If you won’t let me go, I’m telling Dad as soon as he gets here.”

I kinda wish there was a thing with like live updates of what has already been nommed, I'm too impatient! And yay! I only nommed what I really loved as well, I was going to try and nom in every category but then I thought it's stupid to go nomming average fics purely to fill a blank.

Hooray for finishing noms! \O/ Is it safe to assume that 'outside my normal sphere' might mean some of my *not* Clois stuff? ^_~ *bounces* Not that I foresee winning any categories with it this year; [livejournal.com profile] mithen really has me beat with her Clark/Bruce this time out. :p

And man, you guys get to meet up! *jealous* :p I'm gonna seriously have to figure out how to hook up with you guys the next time you get to NC.
