They need to learn that the only way for a relationship to work is with communication. I love how real the tensions and problems between them seem. Was there a relationship in your life that you have drawn from to create this broken marriage?
And communication used to be one of their greatest bonds back in the day. So what happened to break it down? Maybe we'll find out more.
And no, actually. I always thought that this would be a problem with them if they let events get in the way of their relationship like everyone does in real life. What makes heroes so different? And how could their wives be saints when put in that situation? Just like any good thing in your life, you eventually take it for granted on both sides. My thought was, with all of the stress and craziness in their lives now, why wouldn't they? And, once that's happened, can they find their way back to where they started?
And we'll see in the next few chapters what the final verdict shakes down to.
I have to wonder if they're going to have to sit down with Dr. Marrin *kinda shudders at thought but it also intrigued by the storyline that might come from that*. Then again the fact that Marrin had a previous relationship with Lois may preclude him from doing so.
I actually can't say too much on any of that part of it, as close as we are to the most dramatic events of the story. I'd seriously ruin a lot of things if I give away too much.

I can just here him mentally saying "doh!"
