Smallville 9x12: Warrior

Once again, I find myself in the minority.

Not going to do a full review, seeing as how too many people have torn it apart and I don't feel the need to defend the fact that I actually really liked it. It was light, fluffy, and enjoyable. There's nothing wrong with that. Lois remains the HBIC, I liked the kid, I liked the Con, the Captain Marvel ellusions were cute, Chloe playing the XBox was too precious, I wasn't even angry at Z, and Clark sounded like the Superman I know and love in his final scene with Billy Batson.  Hell, I actually liked the Chlollie at the end. More than that, despite my misgivings, that was old-skool Diana Lois looked to be rocking. I'll say no more than a happy sigh.

So sue me. What can I say? I'll hand you the tar and feathers. *shrug*

That said, tell me, my brilliant F-List, what is the tune playing during the Chlollie scene? Because I wants it, precious. I NEEDS it!

I can't even comment about the episode. My satellite dish went wonky during the snowstorm and I didn't get to see the last ten minutes. I missed a Clois scene!! *cries*

I REAALLY wish we knew what the costume was that Lois chose for him. I thought the whole Zatanna thing actually felt a in context to the Clois. You can see from the get-go he's a little uncomfortable with Z invading his space. I also know that things happen that can be misconstrued so the fact that he fessed as soon as he had a good moment to truely give a good apology was a positive note to their (more realistic) relationship. One built on mutual trust (even in the face of insecurity), respect, and attraction to and for the other.

OMG, me, too! I'm actually terrified to know what it was. XD

I really think they needed a wake-up call, too. Something to maybe speed up this relationship a little. To rock the boat and make him really decide what he wants. And it's not Z, obviously.

Agreed on the apology. I think it was perfect for the situation and she really believed him. Plus, I love that Lois keeps dragging him out of his comfort zone. *LOL*

I have to wonder if next week's going to do that. Did you see the promos for Persuasion? Then again, it might actually put a bit of a break on their relationship (because they could feel like they're going too fast when in actuality they aren't).

I'm really interested to see where this puts them, especially since Martha will be back at the end of the season. As long as the both of them are messed up on something for this, I think things might just be okay.
