Annnnd now that the DCU Spring Porn Battle has gone live, my bunnehs are demanding a night off to go play with a long-time back burner story involving a retake on the SIII Evil Superman arc involving Lois coming home before the drama was over. GAAAAAH! 

NO NO NO NO, I HAVE NO TIME, DAMMIT! I have a chapter to finish! *glares*

The saddest part is that there is such potential with the material in SIV. They really could have done something wonderful with the scenes, but it seems like it may have all been for naught, anyway. None of the cast was getting along well. I'm not sure if you've read it, but htbthomas had a fic (http://htbthomas.livejournal.com/103487.html) that played beautifully from the Sick scene in the film. Actually, I think B has several 'missing scenes' over there. I really miss her here in the fandom. :(

Yeah I had read htbthomas' fic and loved it. I think it was what made me think that she really DID still know who he was despite the supposed amnesia kiss (they didn't play any music so there's really no way to know unless she figured the kiss was to remind her to keep it quiet or something). Where are B's? I don't think I've seen them.

The SIV followup in my mind has them sitting down to talk about "what she knows." (and thus far the fic doesn't have him giving her the amnesia kiss but I guess there's still always the potential for it no matter how much I and the readers would abhor it because it's been done by him twice so it seems to be a habit with him... unless I somehow have his inner monologue convince him otherwise). I expect it to be a oneshot unless I continue it up with a rewrite of that one script.

I think mine goes more like her never leaving the apartment after her confession of still loving him. Drag him up off the couch, drag him into the shower, clean him up, and motivate the man to use the damn crystal, i.e. You Have Something To Live For.

Also, you can also imply after the 'Flying Sequence' that they got back together after SIII and things have been going on between them ever since.

I can see that I just don't tend to like to make AUs until I've played with potential scenarios we're left with at the end (hence my current WIP which takes place after the end of SII: DC). At some point I might play with the events that happen during SIV but not quite yet. I do like it though. I

I tend to go close to script until a certain point and then jump off. Mostly because you can still make canon evidence for most of their actions. The amnesia kiss and whatever Lois remembers or even if she remembers is putting much up for debate. I think my biggest thing is that there are so many plot-holes in the third and fourth films that you could make a case for almost anything if you play it right.
