While I realize that the pollen count is really high, I really can't take a day off work because the medication isn't strong enough to help ATM and I'm starting to get sick off the sheer amount of drainage. Seriously, I have a job to do today and I really don't feel like shorting my paycheck because you won't ease up. Really, back off.

No love,
Me

Oh, hon! *snugs tight and offers Claritin*

It's been a miracle that my allergies haven't been too bad so far. Probably the first time in YEARS. I really hope you can get cleared up soon, too.

Anissa here. We have 7 oak trees on the property at home, and our yard and driveway are 2 inches thick with those little pollen thingies they release. Mom only has about 3, but on a much smaller lot, and her yard and driveway are similarly blanketed.

In other words, everything around us is coated in tree sperm.

Thank the gods for Zyrtec, which makes everything better for me. We need to pick up some Claritin for Lois though.

Ew, tree bukake. >_<

It hasn't been quite as bad right around our house, since we lost the oak to Snowmageddon, but the car and the grill are still coated with yellow. :/

And Claritin is so fantastic. Before I got on all my asthma meds, it was twice daily for me, and it kept me going, for sure. Had one today to head off the pollen since I've got the house opened up. I'm glad I never had to go up a level to Zyrtec, and instead the asthma meds took care of things for me.

*snerk* I have to have Zyrtec because it works really well for pet allergies. Cats give me asthma attacks (even if they're bathed weekly in anti-allergen shampoo, and yes, that was quite the adventure learning that fact), but I am also allergic to my dogs. Of which I have four. Because I'm an idiot. From them I just get the runny-nose itchy-eye combo, which the Zyrtec handles nicely. And it helps me survive Tree Bukake Season.

Huh, maybe I should be on Zyrtec, too. As it is, I'm on Advair, Singulair, Flonase, and antihistamine eye drops. O_o And the Claritin is a bonus for bad days. But my allergies also run the gamut, so the full spectrum of meds is really called for. :/

*snugs and passes tissues and eye drops*
