OHHHHH, Boy!

kalalanekentIf yesterday is any indication, we're going to get slaughtered after Black Friday. Yes, it's job security. Yes, I've heard it a million times. But when you're looking at a sea of people that are used to only having a moment *literally* to wait and the lines are eight deep and you've called for back-up and there's no one else there? Yeah. Not even Black Friday yet.
For my brothers- and sisters-in arms out there, I love you and we'll do this thing. We have to. But remember that we have each other's backs. Somewhere out there, there's a cashier or CS rep or backstock worker or maintenance worker just like you fighting to get it done. You're not alone. It's going to be a looooong month and eight days, but someone's out there slogging with you.
To all of you, take a deep breath and close your eyes. Because here it comes. And we'll make it.
