And then, in the middle of the night, when out in the middle of nowhere on a drive to relax us, the car died.

Five minutes later, a giant thunderstorm rolls up.

Can my life get any better?

Thank God, we have AAA. That said, no ride, so I'm not at work today.

Did I mention that I was off the last two days?

*headdesk*

Yep, tomorrow's going to be fun. At least there will be less crap when we pull in in a rental.

New Mexico, but yeah. She's been a good little car up until now and it looks as though it's just a busted hose somewhere. But still, rental car and all that until it's done. Here's hoping that'll be all for a while.

It would be nice if we weren't running around trying to get all of this coordinated. And if I hadn't gotten the silent treatment at work for it. Well, what can you do? *shrugs*

Cars are full of spite and wait until the perfect moment to strike. our misery is like the sweetest candy to them. (I may have had a few car issues myself this summer.)

Don't focus on the evil that awaits you tomorrow, just think of today like a snow day. A annoying car-less snow day, but a snow day none the less and try to do at least one fun thing.

XD It's true enough, even if Rita's been a pretty sweet-natured little thing thus far. She's a tough little car. But yeah. The timing was just totally abysmal.

I pretty much wrote, vidded, and slept when we were rushing around trying to get everything in order for the work-week, so I think that at least counts as a partial win. :D
