What A Busy Week

Well, the long and short of my first day at Harmon was that it didn't suck, but I have alot to learn and retain. I couldn't sleep the night before, not even the Valium I took kept me down and it didn't help that I was feeling awful at bed time, and thus went to work sick and exhausted. Stayed pretty busy despite spending the day on autopilot.
Only one big project yesterday: resetting the wall, which was a mess. I wanted to make sure I had ample time to do it without customers being in the way. So I started with it after lunch at 3:30 and just barely managed to get it done by closing time at 7. Needless to say, I'm not very good at guessing the correct way to set something up with the boss around. I hate doing the wrong time because I'm unsure, worrying about it all night afterwards, and then getting yelled at for it. Still don't know what Brian thought. Guess I'll find out when I get in at 4. *whine*
All in all, I like it. I'll like it alot more once I get used to it. There's a new system just for Harmon and getting tags and UPCs and the like is much more complicated, so... *headdesk* Thank God I'm not alone again until this coming Sunday. *sighs with relief*
And good news for the fans: three projects going up this week. My solo project for
12days_of_clois, finally titled Out of Reach, is just waiting for the final betas before being posted. It finished at 4,390 words and eight pages. Next to go up will be Lois Lane vs Gazeera, another project for the Clois 100. It's currently at 2,168 words and five pages. Everyone give loves to
elliania; I'm keeping her insanely busy! Both of these will be up before the latest round ends on Thanksgiving. And Chapter Sixty-Eight is currently at 3,122 words and seven pages. And next week's chapter is mostly plotted. Turkey leftovers next week, anyone? I promise that the recipe will make a second Thanksgiving worthwhile. ;)
Love also to our poor over-worked beta team:
htbthomas,
sean_montgomery, and
trekkie6. You guys are amazing!
Like I said, busy week. And
rizny_notes, drop me a comment. I need to know if you still have a pic available. It's needed for the LL vs. G banner. And I'm looking SO forward to the Lois 50. *squees over the mere thought*
Love you all! Have a great day! And wish me better luck today, sick or not! :D
