The Author who is stoopid enough to still be awake. *makes face at self* Chapter is finished and retitled. Somebody Else's Life will be next chapter, seeing as how we didn't get the section that pertains to yet. *LOL* As we speak, B is beta-ing and I'll be posting before I go off for a nap. It topped out at 7,099 words and just over thirteen pages, with only one more chappie to go before Act Five!  LS is winding down, my friends!

While I'm at it, congrads saavikam77for being at the home-stretch on Aftermath. Eagerly awaiting the Big Edit and the additions on FF.net! It'll be nice to catch up. ;)

And bistyboo1974, you're right. Normal Harmony 'shippers are scary. I adore the icons, but it's all in fun. I'm of the EWE school on it, but hey, everyone! Live and let live! We all like pairings with goofy as heck names from a YA book series! Get over it!

Heh. Were you around when they were gonna take out an ad in the NYTimes? I guess some of them are planning on doing it again - because they got so far with that last time. *snorts*

Most of the sane H/Hr shippers I know don't even call themself Harmonian because they don't want the association. They either call themselves Pumpkin shippers or just H/Hr shippers.

No, I wasn't, but it's worked for fans in the past. Look how many TV shows have been saved in past years that way. That and I can understand the desire to do it if you believe in something enough. It's just the fact that both the H/G and H/Hr seem to have alot of hate for each other. Not to step on toes, but I've read alot of flmae posts now, too, from the H/G court about "WE WON!". I can see how the Harmonians feel, but they really need to rise above it.

You won't even see me call myself a Harmonian, though, for the same reason. I think all the pairings deserve the respect of the H/G and Hr/R. Now, in case of the funny icons I'll do it *see above*, but they're a little too nasty some times. I have a few mean ones, that I'll never upload, but I'll never deliberately shove them in anyone's face.

*nods* Oh yeah, it can work and I can see why (since I didn't really provide any information there) Actually I meant that question for Caroline, because I thought maybe she was around back then. I get what you're saying about tv shows and such - and it can work but this was a little different than that. They were going to ask JKR to rewrite all of HBP instead of working on Book Seven so it would be the way they wanted it. They were going to raise all of this money and tell her how upset and hurt they were in reaction to the book. Only they were going to place this in the NY Times - to tell a woman in Scottland that she should rewrite the book. I don't know why they chose the NY Times but ... there ya go.


The we won stuff ...that comes from WAY WAY back. Its realy silly but there was a time when if you shipped any ship from OBHWF you were considered stupid. The term Heron comes from the Muggle net forums where the Harmonians decided it would be funny to call us tat - it's a combination of the words Ron, hermione and MORON. I don't know of a singe R/Hr shipper who uses that term because of that.

I'm not saying the whole WE WON thing is mature becuase it's really pretty silly but I think that's where it comes from. Ship wars are stupid ... but I confess I think after years of this I'm a little (ok, more than a little ... *sheepish looks*) too sensitive to it. Not defending it because I really shouldn't care at this point but ...there ya go.

It's funny though because back in the old days the real ship debate was H/Hr vs. R/Hr and I remember people didn't even acknowledge H/G's existance. Seriously if any ship ever got bashed (and I mean bashed) it was H/G ... that was nasty. Sometime we'll have to tell you about the whole thing ... it's long and complicated but it really was ugly.

I saw a few of the bad ones. There are really awful ones of Harry and Hermoine, too. Although I found one for the two of them as Mr. and Mrs. Smith that was howlingly funny. The minute I saw the Ron/Luna, I was like, "I gotta show Lea!" They are so cute!

Oh yeah, there are a ton of bad manips - some of them are hilarious because they're so bad. I actually used to be on a R/Hr community but dropped out of it because every other post was a really bad R/Hr manip. (And I do mean BAD> LOL)

Thanks for the Aftermath pimpage, hon!! :D It feels so good to be done with the story, you have no idea.... I even feel good about getting into the Big Edit now. ^_^ Chapters should start appearing on LJ by Friday! :D
