What's hysterical to me is that I've bought into the whole Sirius/Remus thing. Tonks just seems so young! That and I love the thought of Neville/Ginny. Another reason the H/G just doesn't work for me. And I'm also a Movieverse girl, so that kind changes things versus the books. ;)

But that's what makes it so fun. Almost no one ever stays with the person they fell for in high school. So, if you cut the epilogue out of your mind, you can go anywhere. I mean, there are so many relationships that could have occurred! There was so much potential for several ships.

My personal plot bunny is that something happens after the epilogue, leaving either Harry or Hermoine free and we progress from there. People will hate me, but I figure it would be Ginny that bows out. Not because I hate her, but because I prefer her in another ship.

Oh, amen to that! So am I, but that doesn't mean that most of my friends more far from the high school "love of their life". People sometimes move on and not in the same direction.

If given the easy way out in a fic, that's how I'd do it. Ron and Hermoine stayed together for a while and were happy, but things just didn't work out in the end. And if I did kill anyone off, it would be with an act of nobility.

Oh, yes, I can see it being plausible, especially in light of the events toward the end of PoA. I think one of my very few disappointments from OOTP stemmed from the fact that you only see Remus for a minute or two at the beginning. Now to just find some well-written fic on the pair...

allisomora has a new H/Hr fic ...*goes to look* ...here. I'll be honest and say I didn't read it. I love Liss' writing (and she's a multi-pairing shipper) but I was still on too much of a R/Hr high to read it but I know her stuff is good from the stuff she's written in the past.

madlori is considered to be sort of the Queen of H/Hr ficcage - I wish I had a link to her POU story but it's probably listed on her LJ ... I even liked it (though Ron was dead - and usually that's a BIG turn off for ANY fic for me - but she's a skilled writer and I read it and liked it ... and Ron ... well, you'l see ... *grins* ... )

There are a lot more - I could ask for recs too since it's not a ship I usually read but I've been around long enough to know what's popular and I'm sure the pumpkins out there will be happy to rec ...

aha! I was right ... Liss has a huge rec list here, here and <a href="http://alissomora.livejournal.com/5829.html>here</a>. These were compiled a while ago so they're not DH compliant (some of them were written during the 3 year summer so they're not OOTP compliant) but they're worth checking out.
