~There's A Place That I Know :: It's Not Pretty There and Few Have Ever Gone...~

SO many things up in the air, writing-wise. One chapter of Across the Universe is set to go with the second started last night, first chapter of Sessions to come shortly, a ton of notes on Love and Other Headaches with the first of the oneshot to be written up in the next couple of weeks, and we're making a final polish to Blinding before posting. I'll be SO glad to be back to posting regularly, as long as you guys are still interested.

I really need to get myself to the library and get researching everything for the upcoming stuff. I really need to be looking hard at the Justice League roster and such. This is going to be a massive project, once we start Blood Will Tell.

I feel a planning meeting weekend coming...

• First chapter of Across the Universe as a series? In the can and to the beta. Set post date? Last week of February.
• Blinding deleted scene? Likely next week. We want it to be perfect.
• Will be seeing xenokattz  on Saturday for the first time. So much bunneh expected. SO glad to finally do this. Hope we don't prove to be a let-down.
• Let's see: gorgeous hotel room, rental car [Anissa's trying for a Mustang], get to see glitter_my_glam  late Saturday, got a present coming, and I'm off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Doesn't suck at all.
• MANY notes done on the oneshot series, Love and Other Headaches [tentative title] that follows Heirs. Can't wait to start these.
• Sessions is already waiting in the wings. The decision has been made that Dr. Elliot Marrin will be the narrator in the major of it. Another project I can't wait to tackle.
• Kala's relationship history is going to be FUUUUUUN for a while. Jason's, too, despite finding his dream girl at 15.
• My sexy new boots are already on the way here. :D Expected no later than Saturday.
• Only minor annoyances at work this week. Next week is going to suck, but you can't win them all.
• Annnnd last but not least, I HAVE THE BEST F-LIST AND FANS IN THE WORLD! Can it get any better?

Yep, not bad. :D

And I loooove how it turned out. Now we just need to get a first beta back and polish it up. Also, there will be a separate outtake.

Expect to see it by tomorrow night. We have just about two paragraphs left. :D

Not to mention a few smaller fics. Bite-sized, you might say.

And I'd love to see a few more Reeveverse prompts filled, especially since the PB ends next Thursday. *blink, blink, cute*

All right, the decision has been made to do three large entries to the Porn Battle and a few smaller ones.

The first up, which just went to beta, will be the second and last part to This Strange Effect, Tell Me.  Let's just see how Lois manages to get them out of this one.

The second is a birthday fic for rizny  and a cute little RedK turn on the typical Lois and Clark stuck in the hotel room together for assignment. Looks like this convention in Las Vegas will be more than the usual boring and tawdry affair they're expecting. Remember What You Told Me... is currently 4,300 words and growing. May have to link this one.

And the third is a fic involving memories of childhood and that All-American past-time, skinny-dipping. And being the good boy that we know him to be, how much you wanna beat that he missed out on the fun and games of being a teenager. Good thing he has Lois around to make up for lost time. It Was A Hot Summer Night is currently 2,653 and is still being worked on.

And then we have a few other prompts we have our eyes on, one of which is Richois in the very late part of the Snapshots era.

Hope these guys will be worth the wait. We've been working on them every spare moment. :D

Just a quick little something to make up for missing the chappie Saturday.

We should be posting the chapter next weekend, on time, but the cold and the unhappy has been eating away at me this week, so we switched to a moment I've been waiting to write up for a long time. :D

Also, since I was asked recently: Nope, we won't be doing the interview in Snapshots, since we've done two other tellings of it in the Little Secrets 'verse (An Echo of Legend and Illogically Iconic) nor the events through Superman II (which we cover in LS Proper). We may cover a few of the other larger canon events in the films, but most of the rest are going to be in the in-between of shown moments in STM and the period of a couple of months I think went on in the first films (outtakes, if you will) and SII and SII into Little Secrets. But fleshing out this out to make you see the connections is the real goal. I hope we succeed with it. ;)

After the BS that was last night, I had forgotten how much fun it is to crawl into a familiar place and flesh it out. It's been a bit since a fic made me giggle like a schoolgirl. And I had forgotten how much fun it is to show my OTP at the very beginning. :D I really hope that everyone will enjoy this Snapshot half as much as I am.

This week's chapter, To the Rhythm of the War Drums, is in to the beta. Video for Everybody Loves Me finished. Expect to see both later tonight. :D I feel like I managed to do something today! *twirls* And I have a short shift tonight and Mom (htbthomas ) tomorrow!

Now to get the next chapter started and headway on our next Snapshots oneshot. :D

Ever had a morning when you get up and nothing you do seems right, nothing you've written in the last year looks right, it's too damn hot, you want to cry, and you feel like you're totally boring and you don't know why your friends bother with you when all of write in your LJ is gloom and doom? And you don't even do that well, not to mention your fic writing? 

Only useful thing I'm doing today is noms, some of which make me nervous.

Blech. I need to defriend myself.

Also, due to the fact that this last chapter had issues now that I look bck on it, Anissa and I are talking about taking a week's break to get The Pond finished, our 12days_of_clois  fic finished, and get some serious plotting worked out. I'm scared to death that the end of Heirs isn't going to be up to par and that's the last thing I want. After the way that LS ended, I really don't want to see this boring the hell out of you guys.

I think June is getting to me. I've never been so glad that vacation is soon. *lets out slow sigh of relief*
