Wow, I did not see that coming. Not at all. Especially since he's British. But that said, I can see why he was the one chosen. I'm so sad to see Brandon's time in the role end, as I personally loved his performance, but I also see how they're trying to distance themselves from Superman Returns. Again, I think it's stupid and wasteful, but we can't stop them, can we? I can only hope that they play things right this time. Now I just hold my breath until Lois is cast. Oh dear Lord, this is casting I can live with, PLEASE don't let them screw up on Lois.

Totes understandable about Lois. I can almost alllllllllllmost see Zooey because she has that "I'm kindy weird but totally harmless honest!" look that I've always imagined for Lois; Erica Durance has a different flavour of this with her "I'm totes irresponsible & almost always shitfaced BWAH!" angle. But I can't quite see Zooey gnawing someone's face off whereas Durance? Very much so. Ditto Margot Kidder.
